Position: Senior Garment Merchandiser Definition: The merchandiser is responsible of the communication, the development, the order follow-up, the quality issues, and the shipment arrangements. He/She has to organize and manage the administrative tracking of customer orders. He/She will provide the interface between the commercial, technical, accounting and information, registration of order to delivery. The merchandiser will be responsible of one product group and a supplier portfolio. Daily correspond with Belgium head company. Order management: 1/ Cross check if files, SMS and order information are the same, 2/ Transmit the orders to the suppliers, 3/ Ensure supplier proper understanding of the orders, and highlight the delivery time schedule, 4/ Follow-up the production planning and keep it up-dated twice/week or every time is requested by the management and head quarter in Belgium, 5/ Organize the quality control during production and inform the PM and logistic department, 6/ Crosscheck that QC inspectors have all the needed information to do the quality control, 7/ Inform PM as soon as possible when the supplier is facing an issue(quality, delivery...) 8/ Inform the logistic department regarding the production final date.
