3+ year experience Job Description: Reviews fit sample, pre-production sample and TOP sample based on tech pack request and then write comments for technical design reference. Communicate factorys technical issues effectively and in a timely manner to STL Corporate Technical Design Department or SIS QA Manager. Able to make independent judgment calls if samples should be rejected to factory after local checking. Knowledge of paper pattern is necessary to perform this job. Knowledge of consumption estimating is necessary to perform this job. Must know how to properly measure a pattern as well as a garment according to corporate standards. Must maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with vendors and corporate. Is cognizant of timing to ensure samples are submitted on a timely basis. Must be able to read/write/speak English fluently.
