FUNCTIONS: Inspections and follow-up - Conduct independent QA inspections in different china areas - Inspect materials, color, measurements, labels and overall quality - Make judgment on acceptance and rejection of marginal quality cases - Prepare, consolidate, update and file audit reports - Provide technical advice to factories to solve quality problems - Specify timeframe for factories to implement improvements - Familiar with AQL standards Production Control and Improvement - Communicate brand’s requirements, key points and comments to factories - Provide advice / make judgment of whether the machinery could fulfill the production needs and manufacture quality products - Check if materials used for production are of acceptable quality - Provide technical advice and suggestions to factories to improve their performance and capability - Develop production plans that meet headquarters’ delivery requirements - Control factory quality and QA procedures to meet brand’s requirements - Guide the production procedures for different items - Anticipate quality issues that may arise in the manufacturing process - Identify the causes of production problems that could consequently have an impact on costs, delivery and/or product quality - Identify and provide solutions on production and manufacturing problems that might have impact on delivery and / or product quality - Discuss with merchandisers for work progress and issues / difficulties encountered - Discuss alternatives with factories based on headquarters’ comments Categories: Home Textiles, Soft Toys, Other Accessories (bags, mask, lavender bags, necessaries) REQUIREMENTS - Diploma/Degree in textile, design or related major -At least 4 years experience for European /USA market in buying office/trading company in China -Abil
