1- Facilitate the communication in between the designer and the technicians: patter-cutters and machinists especially (explanation of technical drawings, keep a technical glossary updated...)
2- Follow up sample making process: make sure its good progression.
3- Assist Designer to source and buy the fabric and accessories from storage or local Zhongda fabric market.
4- Assist Designer to prepare technical folders/drawings, baste draping etc.
5- Update all new fashion / marketing/ selling information and report the designer.
6- Develop trends and design researches and report the designer.
7- Fabric cards and accessory cards organizing and archiving , stationery filing, keep the workplace organized and clear
Skills
Fluently English spoken & writing.
Familiar with local (ZhongDa) fabric market, and willing to travel in Guangzhou. Sourcing aptitude for fabric, accessories and trimming (able to contact factories, go shopping to market according to a specific request...)
